Google - Internship
I was part of the Search Team. I was solely responsible for creating a feature debugging tool essential to help Feature Developers debug and answer crucial questions like - Why my feature didn't show up? Knowledge of RPCs, Graph Traversals, Data Slicing and HTML was particularly useful. I learnt about the lifecycle of a search query and most importantly how a team functions in a tech focussed organization.
Microsoft- Engage Program
As part of this program I had to make a clone of the Microsoft Teams App. I chose to build the app - Amigo using javascript. The app was complete with several standout features like - Background-Blur, End-to-End Encryption, Secure Login using Google and a Meeting Scheduler. Just two weeks before the end of the program we were tasked with adding a new feature of persistent chat at the last moment. Amigo has that functionality too. I learnt to explore web app development for the first time and also about SCRUM methodology from Microsoft professionals who acted as my mentors during the program. View source
Google - Cloud Training
This training taught me how to use Google cloud for various use cases. I learnt how to deploy apps on google cloud, how to manage global clusters. I even learnt aout Kubernetes Engines and how it plays a helpful role in management of cloud servers. Among other things I learnt were how to manage access using IAM authentication and create Alerts to effectively monitor the cloud instances. View Credentials
